Angra Mainyu is the Avestan-language name of Zoroastrianism's hypo stasis of the "destructive spirit". The Middle Persian equivalent is Ahriman

Ahura Mazda will ultimately prevail over evil

Zoroaster taught that Ahura Mazda, the one and only eternal God, created the world as a battleground in which he could meet and overcome the Evil Spirit, Angra Mainyu. The creation was accomplished through his Holy Spirit Spenta Mainyu and the six Holy Imortals (Amesha Spenta), each of whom now dwells in and protects his creation. So the answer is, Angra Mainyu.

It is from the Zoroastrian religion that the idea of Satan came from to influence later religions
