Zoroastrianism is a religion and philosophy based on the teachings of prophet Zoroaster (or Zarathustra - Persian). The term Zoroastrianism is, in general usage, essentially synonymous with Mazdaism, i.e. the worship of Ahura Mazda, exalted by Zoroaster (Zarathustra) as the supreme divine authority. Along with Hinduism, Zoroastrianism is considered to be among the oldest religions in the world.
Zoroastrian Religion, by many perceived as a dualistic ancient Persian religion, in fact is the First Universal and Monotheistic Religion in History.
Restored Zoroastrianism brings the Good Religion back to the World. It is not an oriental mystic sect or cult, but a World Religion for all Mankind.
Suppressed and forgotten by the World during thousands of years, it is time to recall that God was realized in the Profound Teachings of Zoroaster, a thousand and more years before any prophet brought "divine revelations".
Where later prophets described God in rather "human" terms, Zoroaster never did. He realized a Supreme Being, who is independent of being worshiped and obeyed and thus is NOT about fear, guilt, torment and condemnation. Instead your best friend, incapable of doing harm ....
There are neither sins nor sinners in God's eyes, neither condemnation nor damnation in God's heart and thus there will be no Last Day of Judgement.
It was the first monotheistic religion to exist. It's influence can be seen in the Aramaic religions today. The worship Ahura Mazda, a god of light. Their religion embraces the idea of duality and a struggle for the immortal soul. They also have many minor gods/ spirits. Check the kippedDOEre info.
Essentially, it is the earliest known form of monotheism. Zoroaster (Greek: Zarathustra) was a Persian "prophet" whose teaching may very well have influenced early Judaism. The original monotheism was eventually supplanted by a plurality of gods, much like Christianity (with saints, and demons, and trinities, and whatnot.) By the 2ND century BCE, a mystery cult had grown around one of these demo-gods, Mithra. He was a solar/agrarian deity who died for sins and was resurrected after 3 days. It was believed that he became a judge of the dead. Tarsus (home town of Saul/Paul) was a first century center of Mithraism, and Paul borrowed heavily from it when he was inventing Christianity.
I just go ogled . There's all kinds of accurate information on the philosophy.
One thing you may not find in the reference material is that many Bible scholars consider Zoroastrianism the likely source of the Magi that brought gifts to Jesus at His birth. This is only part of the irrefutable evidence that Christianity has always been a gift to every race from its very inception even eastern magicians.
It is certainly a part of the brotherhood of man concept totally contrary to what many religions teach that Christianity must be all pervasive and wipe out every other concept. . . Interesting link you may want to know about.

Zoroastrianism is the dualistic religion of Prue-Islamic Persia. It was founded in the 6Th or 7Th century BC by the prophet Zarathustra, and claims that there are two equally powerful divine forces in the universe, one good, one evil. In their cosmology, the universe is a battleground for these two opposing forces; unlike Christianity and Judaism, the outcome of this struggle is not a guaranteed victory for the forces of righteousness. Thus, it is imperative for every believer to form a covenant with Ahura Mahzda, the god of light, in order to combat the forces of wickedness. This ritual always involved fire, which was viewed as the medium which united the physical and spiritual worlds. Fire was so sacred to the Zoroastrians that it could not be polluted, especially by something as foul as death; therefore, the Persians did not burn their dead like the Greeks and Romans, but rather laid them in an open tower and allowed birds to pick at their remains until only the skeleton was left.
Zoroastrianism was made the official religion of the Persian Empire under the Sassanid dynasty, a status it retained until the Arab conquest in the early 7Th century AD. By this time, in addition to Ahura Mahzda, Zoroastrianism had gained a pantheon of other demigods; the most prominent of these was Mithras, whose cult was particularly popular among soldiers in the Roman army. Even though the religion has less than 150,000 followers worldwide today, Zoroastrianism had a huge impact on the development of other world religions. They were the first to articulate beliefs like cosmic dualism, the resurrection of the body, and a blissful afterlife, doctrines which today are present in Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Hope this helped, feel free to email me if you need any more information. I would also suggest going to wiped.org; their portal on Zoroastrianism is accurate and well-documented.
