I believe it gave Islam the concepts of God, Satan, and Purgatory/Hell.

Zoroastrianism was a very large religion in Persia, extra in the Middle East, and many concepts are the same, for example monotheism. It could be easy to say Islam was indeed influenced by Zoroastrianism.

What WAS the impact on them? It still is!

They had a problem struggling with the Good Spirit and the Evil Spirit.

Can you see a resemblance of that today?

Just because Zoroastrianism is considered monotheistic does not mean that Islam was influenced by it. Mohammed Peace Be Upon Him was illiterate?he could not read or write. So thinking that he had access to the Zoroastrianistic scriptures and being influenced bye them is not possible. In addition, the Koran descended in its entirety before there was real direct contact with Persia in ?Islamic? times. Therefore, there was no connection. Judaism, Christianity and Islam are connected?and Judaism was present BEFORE 600 B.C. which is when the founder of Zoroastrianism began it. I know some ?scholars? FEEL or have reported in passing that Zoroastrianism influenced these major religions, but that does not make it true, since there is no real evidence that supports that. Again, mere monotheism does not prove that, since Judaism is monotheistic and as mentioned above it preceded Zoroastrianism.
