Default How is Zoroastrianism regarded in Christianity? Were the 3 wise men Zoroastrian pries

I sometimes see them referred to as Magi. Zoroastrian priests are sometimes called Magi. Were the three Wise men from Persia? Were they Zoroastrians?
@Richard. I've never heard of the December Watch tower. I've just wondered about Persia and Zoroastrianism for a long time because I'm a fan of Freddie Mercury and my GF is a beautiful and smart Persian woman.
@TaZ you could very well be right. I'd like to know.

Being Zoroastrian Magi they practiced astrology and divination.

So according to the bibles internal logic they were puppets of Satan.

No proof, probably from India, because India was well known for astronomy then.

"Wonderful wonderful"
"Wonderful life"
"Time after time"
"Don't know much"

"I can see clearly now?
"The Rose"
Not the priest?
The wise men among "The Rose"
The wise men with the bearing gifts?
The wise men who was lost in time?
Not hear-say only.

I don't know if the three Magi were actual Zoroastrians. The Magi(were the English word Magician comes from) were simply scholars, mystics, and priests of any Iranian religion. Zoroastrianism was actually weakened during the Parthian era because the Parthian Dynasty(Dynasty that revived the empire after Alexander and fought with the Romans) probably didn't strongly support Zoroastrianism. Many temples of other Iranian religions survive from that time.

I don't believe the Bible explicitly talks about Zoroastrianism but I know for a fact that certain elements of Judaism and later, Christianity, were borrowed from Zoroastrianism. The idea of angels and demons is one of them.
