How and why is it that Islam succeeded as a religion rather than Zoroastrianism?

I need historical proofs and fact and link and anything....
A prisoner, i did not ask you to attempt to convert me. When i and the rest of the world think of Islam we associate it directly with radical jihads Islam. that's not your fault and i dint doubt that you re a good person but that's besides the point. Furthermore you would have an easier time converting a farm animal than you would i... Zoroastrianism predates Islam. Zoroastrianism laid the foundations for a religion like Islam. Although I wouldn't say that Zoroastrianism hasn't succeeded there are still some practitioners.

Muslims submit and surrender their will and desires to the will and the laws of the Creator. By referring to, "The Creator", Muslims are talking about "Allah."

In short, man is 'his own god'.
there is no retribution for his sins.
he is free to follow his carnal desires/ innate characteristics.
