Default How and why is it that Islam succeeded as a religion rather than Zoroastrianism?

I need historical proofs and fact and link and anything....
A prisoner, i did not ask you to attempt to convert me. When i and the rest of the world think of Islam we associate it directly with radical jihads Islam. that's not your fault and i dint doubt that you re a good person but that's besides the point. Furthermore you would have an easier time converting a farm animal than you would i... I asked for historical proofs and you didn't supply that. regardless though i thank you for your effort. please just stick to the question next time...
It appears you have actually answered the question in a way. I apologize if Ive come of as a bit rude,
but I'm just stating what i feel on the matter.... and again thank you for helping,
Imsha-allah well live in peace and we can all stop fighting....

Zoroastrianism predates Islam. Zoroastrianism laid the foundations for a religion like Islam. Although I wouldn't say that Zoroastrianism hasn't succeeded there are still some practitioners.

Thank you for asking me about my religion.

Before i began to answer your question, i would like to state two important things:
1. As Muslims we cannot lie about anything, especially about our religion.
2. We have original recorded sources of our religion:

A) The Quran
http://www.quranexplorer.com

B) Teachings of Muhammad - the Authentic saying or Sunnah
http://www.quranexplorer.com/hadith/english/index.html

This is a unique part of Islam, not available in any other ancient religions.

Muslims submit and surrender their will and desires to the will and the laws of the Creator. By referring to, "The Creator", Muslims are talking about "Allah."
"Allah" simply means "God" in Arabic.

=====================

Islam is the ONLY solution to "all" the problems faced by the world of today.(especially the west)
high rates of murders/ homicides/ suicides
high rates of rapes/ incests and crimes of sexual harassment
high rates of crimes/ robberies
sex without marriage/ fornication
adultery/ prostitution
pornography in the name of 'free speech'
vulgarity/ obscenity/ profanity on a rise
women objectification into sex slaves
capitalism (rich getting richer day by day)
inflation
high debt
child pornography
abortion (1.5 million babies are aborted each year in US)
hate crimes/ racism
accumulation of wealth
high rates of suicides
alcoholism
drug use and abuse on a rise
STDs/ AIDs/ etc on a RISE
rise in Old homes and 'day care cent res'!

(i can name more if you wish!)

In short, man is 'his own god'.
there is no retribution for his sins.
he is free to follow his carnal desires/ innate characteristics.

Total crime rates per country (US ranks 1st, Uk ranks 2ND)

The use of force to convert non-believers of Islam is the reason behind the spread of Islam.
