Is Zoroastrianism a monotheistic or polytheistic religion?

There seem to be a number of minor deities in it, but I was under the impression it was a monotheistic religion....?

Why, because, Ahura Mazda is the Avestan language name for a divinity exalted by Zoroaster as the one uncreated Creator, hence God.

Those "minor deities" are essentially the equivalent/precursors of angels and demons.
