Unite Zoroastrianism,Judaism,Christianity & Islam?
each of these four religions has influenced the other and are all bound by the same single god and central moral values.
Would it be possible to combine the 4 religions into a single faith?
Not really, look at how much hate exists between them. Really, until they are able to get over the differences it wouldn't be possible. Also, why combine? Each religion has it's own set of beliefs, although they believe in one and the same God, they don't agree on Prophets, messengers and such.
It may be possible to unite or blend these faiths into one, but the majority of people belonging to each of these religions will probably not leave their religion so easily to join the new and unified one.
Thank you so much for your concern (cue sarcastic tone) but as a Jew, I am in fact rather proud of the fact that my religion has survived centuries of being banned, persecuted, tortured and exterminated. Why would you think I would WANT to 'combine' my faith with any other?
Well I am a teen and I just converted to Judaism but I don't think they'll work out because even though they believe in the same God they all have there different shares of practices
Zoroastrianism may have influenced Judaism, but Christianity and Islam haven't.
Judaism may have influenced Christianity and Islam, but not Zoroastrianism.
Christianity may have influenced Islam, but not Judaism or Zoroastrianism.
All four may claim to be monotheistic, but the conceptions of G-d are so different between all of them that they are mutually exclusive and incompatible.
I'm Jewish, so I'll just speak from the Jewish point of view, in order not to misrepresent the other views. Zoroastrianism has a duality and Christianity has a trinity within G-d. This is heresy according to Judaism. The Islamic understanding of Allah is less problematic.
The fundamental moral values are NOT the same. We may even use some of the same words, but we define them very differently.
It would be nice if we could all live in harmony. That *should* be possible. But that doesn't mean we'd all be singing the same note.
We *could* join together for a common purpose, without needing to combine our faiths. For example, we can work together to feed the hungry, provide medical care for the sick, or to create shelter for the homeless.
I *think* one thing we can all agree upon is that "Love your neighbor as yourself" is an important principle. If we could focus on that together, rather than on merging our traditions, I think we could go very far.
