Default Pascal's Wager from Zoroastrianism, or Islam to, Christianity?

It strikes me that if a Zoroastrian, or a Muslim, were to put Pascals's Wager to a Christian, the Christian would be on the loosing end of the bet?

Zoroastrians, like Muslims & Christians, believe in Heaven & Hell but unlike Christians only believe in God, I mean they don't believe that Jesus is God.

Given Pascal's Wager, surely then it would be safer just to worship God than to speculate about the divinity of a long dead Rabbai?
Oh Mark! Could't you have just run with it? tut tut

I'm a longtime amateur scholar of Pascal and the Wager. You misunderstand it greatly. The main principle (which is only illustrated by Christianity -- which Pascal found reasonable on other grounds, see The Pensees) is that you should not do something that can never be undone UNTIL you have your ultimate religious position made up. So, you should never commit adultery, which you know in many religions and in Natural Law (not just Christianity) to be a most serious offense -- UNTIL you are sure there is no God...BECAUSE you are already guilty if you die and go to 'God' and say 'Yes, I DID this sin before without being sure it wasn't a grave sin'. You would be condemning yourself. And as Jesus said : By your own words you will be condemned.

The particular religion is a secondary aspect of the Wager. Pascal was not a FIDEIST.

Pascal's Wager works for any religion that is 100 percent Wrong. It is not used by any religions that have the Truth.
