Well I'm a bit rusty on this subject, but as far as scholars know, Zoroastrianism was the first religion that had a concept for the end of the world, as well as a good creator God and an evil one. Zorostrians believed the end of the world would come when the Good Creator god and the evil creator God would duke it out over the universe. So it can only be assumed, that Judaism picked up much of their philosophies and creation myths from them, but I should also mention the.Sumerian and Babylonian mythology and belief obviously had a great deal of influence over them as well. Just compare the early books of the Torah to the Enuma Elish and other sources dating before the Hebrew faith.
