think about it, old testament ( Jewish) new testament (Christianity) and plus Jesus was a JEW!! everyone forgets that. The Christianity is based off Judaism but the difference is that you guys thank he is the Messiah and we disagree and our bible (the Torah) says nothing that Jesus was a Messiah.
it has ripped off every religion, especially the pagan religion of central & northern Europe. It st old Christmas and Easter from us, plus a lot of customs. It's nothing but a made up religion constructed from stolen parts.
In the order, Judaism comes first, than Greek Polytheism (not Monotheism) and then Zoroastrianism. It takes just more than one god for Polytheism. Christianity has several. If you didn't
know, they worship also Mary as the Queen of Heavens. So, three in the Trinity and the Mother of God.
Christianity did not "rip off" if the term "rip off" means "to steal". Christianity is the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies concerning the coming of the Messiah. It's roots are in Judaism. Any similarities to other religions are merely a reflection of commonly held religious truths.
JEWS DID NOT WIRITE THE BIBLOS ( BIBLE IN GREEK) AS THEY DID NOT BELIEVE CHRIST WAS GOD AND WOULD NEVER WRITE THE " BIBLE" WHICH IS A GREEK WORD. ( IF YOU READ ROME AS GREEK AND ST> PETERS ( BASILICA) ALL GREEK ( ASK GREEK SCHOLARS ( LATIN DERIVED FROM GREEK )
GREEKS NEVER RIPPED ANYONE OFF> ( THE TORAH
WAS IN HEBREW ) GREEKS ACKNOWLEDGED AND BELIEVE ALL IN THE TORAH) WHEN THEY TRANSLATED INTO THE PENTANEUCH.. WE FOLLOW BOTH THE TORAH AND THE BIBLOS WHICH IS GREEK AS WE BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST
NO JESUS CHRIST IS NOT A JEW.. GREEKS BELIEVE
LOGOS WAS MANIFESTED IN FLESH ( AS JESUS/ SON OF GOD ON EARTH AND WAS FULLY DEVINE/ AND FULLY HUMAN WILL ON EARTH/ HOLY GHOST/ PNEUMA RUACH IN HEBREW/ BREATH OF GOD JESUS ASCENDED BACK TO THE HEAVENS
JESUS CHRIST IS GOD.. YHWH
MARY THE THEO ( GOD) BEARER) CARRIED JESUS WHEN MANIFESTED IN FLESH)
MARY CANNOT GIVE BIRTH TO GOD
GREEK CHRISTIANITY DID NOT RIP ANYBODY OFF
AS WE BELIEVE IN ONE GOD ( FATHER/ SON/ HOLY SPIRIT)
JUDAISM DOES NOT BELIEVE IN LOGOS MANIFESTED IN FLESH
AND ZORASTRIANS DONT FOLLOW THE SAME BELIEF AS THE GREEKS
SO WHO RIPPED ANYONE OFF> NOT THE GREEKS

Very good question! I commend you on doing some in-depth investigation. I think, however, you have missed something. Please, do not take any of my following comments as a personal put-down, because they are anything but, but I think you need to consider another viewpoint. I think I can as easily ask who you "ripped off?" If truth is truth, then if you hear it from two different sources, does one "rip off" the other? Is truth the exclusive property of anyone or any religion? When you heard your eighth grade teacher say that one plus one is two, did they "rip off" any of your earlier teachers? I think not in all the above cases. While I commend you on doing some investigation, I think you have not gone far enough. If I could convincingly show that there were over twenty-three thousand names for one truth, then it would take up far too much room to list them all, and for any intelligent person, just a few should suffice as examples, do you not agree? Does one plus one still equal two today? That is a universal truth. It never changes. Do you still live under the same rules as you did when you were six months old? Do you cry when you need something and you parents do everything for you? Of course not! While some rules never change, others are abrogated and new ones adopted according to your maturity and circumstances. Now consider the following words.
========================================
There can be no doubt whatever that the peoples of the world, of whatever race or religion, derive their inspiration from one heavenly Source, and are the subjects of one God. The difference between the ordinances under which they abide should be attributed to the varying requirements and exigencies of the age in which they were revealed.
(Baha'u'llah, Gleanings from the Writings of Baha'u'llah, p. 217)
O Jews! If ye be intent on crucifying once again Jesus, the Spirit of God, put Me to death, for He hath once more, in My person, been made manifest unto you. Deal with Me as ye wish, for I have vowed to lay down My life in the path of God. I will fear no one, though the powers of earth and heaven be leagued against Me. Followers of the Gospel! If ye cherish the desire to slay Muhammad, the Apostle of God, seize Me and put an end to My life, for I am He, and My Self is His Self. Do unto Me as ye like, for the deepest longing of Mine heart is to attain the presence of My Best-Beloved in His Kingdom of Glory. Such is the Divine decree, if ye know it. Followers of Muhammad! If it be your wish to riddle with your shafts the breast of Him Who hath caused His Book the Bayan to be sent down unto you, lay hands on Me and persecute Me, for I am His Well-Beloved, the revelation of His own Self, though My name be not His name. I have come in the shadows of the clouds of glory, and am invested by God with invincible sovereignty. He, verily, is the Truth, the Knower of things unseen. I, verily, anticipate from you the treatment ye have accorded unto Him that came before Me. To this all things, verily, witness, if ye be of those who hearken. O people of the Bayan! If ye have resolved to shed the blood of Him Whose coming the B?b hath proclaimed, Whose advent Muhammad hath prophesied, and Whose Revelation Jesus Christ Himself hath announced, behold Me standing, ready and defenseless, before you. Deal with Me after your own desires.

Buddha, Krishna and over twenty-three thousand other names could have been used, but as I said, a few examples should suffice, do you not agree? As I said, I think you need to consider another viewpoint. I started questioning religion when I was eight. It took me a few years, but I became a staunch atheistic agnostic. I later spent over fifteen years trying to prove the assertions in the above quotes to be just so much hooey. How long have you been at it? I wish someone had shared with me when I was twelve what I just shared with you. I would not have wasted so much effort trying to develop my own proofs of no God. But keep the following in mind:
===========================================
God has given man the eye of investigation by which he may see and recognize truth. He has endowed man with ears that he may hear the message of reality and conferred upon him the gift of reason by which he may discover things for himself. This is his endowment and equipment for the investigation of reality. Man is not intended to see through the eyes of another, hear through anther's ears nor comprehend with anther's brain. Each human creature has individual endowment, power and responsibility in the creative plan of God. Therefore depend upon your own reason and judgment and adhere to the outcome of your own investigation; otherwise you will be utterly submerged in the sea of ignorance and deprived of all the bounties of God.
Mithraism! No question. Of course you could say that it was itself a rip off of previous ones but that's a given when it comes to any religion, especially the younger ones. It's all part of our cultural evolution.
Here's a summary of some of the characteristics of Mithraism, invented in 128BCE when the Greek astronomer Hipparchus of Rhodes discovered the precession of the equinoxes:
Mithra (also spelled Mithras), a Graeco-Persian invention, was born of a virgin on the winter solstice - frequently December 25Th in the Julian calendar. Being a solar deity, Mithra was worshiped on Sundays; after Mithra had become amalgamated with Helios, he was depicted with a halo, nimbus, or glory around his head. In some cases it has been difficult to tell if ancient images were intended as depictions of Mithra or Jesus. The leader of the cult was called a pope (papa) and he ruled from a "Mithra" on the Vatican Hill in Rome. A prominent iconographic feature in Mithraism was a large key, needed to unlock the celestial gates through which souls of the deceased were believed to pass. It would appear that the "keys of the Kingdom" held by the popes as successors to "St. Peter" derive from Mithra, not from a Palestinian messiah. The Mithraic priests wore miters, special headdresses from which the Christian bishop's hat was derived. (The Latin name for this Phrygian/Persian hat was mitra - which also was an acceptable Latin spelling for Mithra!) The Mithraists consumed a sacred meal (Myazda) which was completely analogous to the Catholic Eucharistic service (Missa, or Mass). Like the Christians, they celebrated the atoning death of a savior who was resurrected on a Sunday. A major center of Mithraic philosophy was at Tarsus - St. Paul's hometown - in what now is Southeast Turkey.
