Is iran's old religion: Zoroastrianism, a dead religion?
I mean it terms of population of people who are Zoroastrians. I feel sad that Iran's first and old religion is fading away. Is there anyone here who is a Zoroastrian?
The biggest problem for Zoroastrianism is the Parsis. They mixed Hinduism in with the religion and banned conversion for 300 years and only think about money. They just imitated India's sectarianism.
No where in the Gathas does it say conversion is forbidden.
No, but it is dying. Estimates generally place the world Zoroastrian population at about 200,000. Most are located in Iran and India. It's also certainly not the first religion of the area. Zoroastrianism developed among polytheists.
