Default Explain the concept of a fravashi as in Zoroastrianism?

Can someone please explain the concept of a ravish to me?
It is a part of the religion Zoroastrianism.
I understand it's part of the soul, but every source says something different and it's very difficult to understand.
Please explain it in easy terms.
Thank you very much!
